1. Registration

The journey begins at registration. NileByteCare’s patient registration module captures:

Demographics (name in English and Arabic, DOB, gender, nationality)

National ID and other identifiers
Blood group, allergies
Family history, past medical history, social history, surgical history
Insurance policy details

A unique Medical Record Number (MRN) is auto-generated. Duplicate detection prevents multiple records for the same patient.

2. Appointment Scheduling

Once registered, patients can be scheduled for appointments:

Book with any practitioner
Choose from available time slots
Select service unit (clinic, department)
Calendar view and list view
Walk-in appointments supported

3. Check-In and Queue

On arrival, the patient checks in and receives a queue number. The waiting area display shows their position. Clinicians see who is waiting.

4. Clinical Encounter

The doctor sees the patient and documents the encounter:
